We are currently hiring temporary staff to assist in setting up, breaking down, and catering special events in the Cambridge, MA area. While these events take place, we will be collecting data as part of a research study aimed at improving security screening methods at special events. The facility where the special event occurs is using a security screening system that all staff and event attendees will be required to go through.
Interested applicants with experience in the food industry is preferred, but not required.
Participants will attend two appointments that will occur on weekdays. At the first appointment, participants will meet with a researcher to learn more about the study, complete a few surveys, and to set up a second appointment. The first appointment should take no more than one hour to complete.
During the second appointment, participants will be provided with details of the staffรขโฌโขs duties and responsibilities during the special event and instructions for completing the study. Individuals can expect the special event to last approximately 4 hours. If an individual decides not to pursue this opportunity at any point, they will be paid $15.00 an hour for their time. If they work their shift as instructed and complete the research study, they will be compensated up to $90.00.
The special events are located in the Kendall Square area of Cambridge, MA and are within walking distance of the Kendall/MIT stop off of the MBTAรขโฌโขs Red Line.
